"I am Hugo Faivre, 31 years old Parisian and happy founder of Background Paris.
After studying art history and the art market, I worked in contemporary art galleries in Paris before opting for the hat of an independent curator.
Lover of my city and passionate about hip hop culture since my adolescence, I decided to create Background Paris to present and defend the local graffiti scene through original exhibition formats.
Paris reveals itself off the beaten track.
The effort is placed on mediation, the sale of works is no longer the final objective and the Parisian artistic center is highlighted by allowing the meeting with an international audience, in an intimate context."
